Revolutionizing with Technology and Creating Harmony with Content

Invitation: WSA Grand Jury Opening Conference in Hong Kong, April 8th When over 30 renowned experts in the field of ICT content come together to decide what the current world’s best digital contents are, they face a serious time of work behind closed doors. This way they can assure fair assessment. But to make the cumulated expertise of these opinion leaders accessible to all those interested, they open the doors to visitors. The World Summit Award Grand Jury invites you to participate in their public Opening Conference to discuss the buzzing developments in the field. It will start on April 8th at 9am in Hong Kong, 100 Cyberport Road, Cyberport 3: registration is possible at wsa2011reg@gmail.com Under the topic “Revolutionizing with Technology and Creating Harmony with Content”, the Jury members will present best practice cases in social media and show how to take inspiring content with you, anytime anywhere. They will demonstrate how ICT helps to fight genetically inherited disease or to enable 250,000 Village Councillors for Good Governance. Implications and advantages of new developments such as Cloud Technology and IPv6 will also be discussed. After the Opening Conference, the Jury will evaluate the submissions from 160 participating countries on the basis of content and creativity. The 31 jury members come from all continents and have backgrounds in the creative industries, telecommunication, advertising, journalism and research, as well as in teaching. The Jury will be hosted by the Internet Professional Association (iProA) and supported by other local partners.
